Cleaning Shower Doors:

Pour a 1/2 cup of DAWN dishwasher cleaner into a spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with vinegar. Spray on the tile and shower, scrub and rinse. This simple combination cleans better than most commercial cleaners.

Door glass is easily cleaned with some laundry pre-wash spray. Just spray it on, wait a minute and wipe it off. For stubborn water spots use the product "AMAZE". This product will take off the spots without damaging the glass or metal. Avoid products like "Lime Away" or "Edfred".

Prevent the buildup in the first place by applying a coat of "Crystal Shield" to seal the glass.This coating will last a year. Rubbing on lemon oil will also prevent a build up, but it doesn't last very long because the hot water of a shower washes off the oil.

To clean a old style bypass door with a "W" bottom track, pour some vinegar onto the track. Then scrub the track with a bottle brush. Lay some towels outside the tub and poor some hot water into the track to flush out the vinegar.

Clean Euro hardware using soap and water and soft cloth. Never use an abrasive cleaner.
